GAME BALL FOR DURANTS PARENTS

Here's a nice e-mail from Ross Richardson:

I thought I would pass on to you a warm and fuzzy from the Western Final.

My son Graham and I were at the game. Our tickets are Section 3 row 11 Seats 1 and 2. We look down at the timekeepers table on the 35 yard line.

Darian Durant's parents were sitting in Section 4 Row 9 and 6 or so seats in from the aisle common to sections 3 and 4.

James Patrick intercepted a Burris pass and runs towards the sideline and thows the ball into the stands. The ball lands in Section 4 row 12 or so about 6 seats in - directly beside us and only a few rows behind Durant's parents.

In less than one minute the ball had made its way to Durants parent's. They appeared to be very honoured and humbled to be given the ball. All the surrounding fans made them more than welcome during the game.

Throughout the game, the looks on their faces was of awe and amazement at the Rider fans.
