POST GAME COMMENTS FROM KEN MILLER

POST GAME QUOTES FROM RIDER HEAD COACH KEN MILLER
“The men played with great intensity tonight and I’m really proud of them. I think we got touchdowns in our first two drives in the third quarter so the adjustments we made at halftime really made a different. Those takeaways were good for us too.”

“I have to give all the credit to the offensive coaches. They were huddled in the coaches room at halftime and they really took care of that.”“Our special teams have been improving all along. We’ve had some glitches here and there but I’m proud of them tonight.”

“I think Warren Kean needs a little more experience. The experience he got tonight on extra points was real good. He’s good from about 40 in. With Eddie, he could do a long field goal. It’ll continue to be a teamwork there with Warren doing the short ones and Eddie doing the long ones. I think by next week, Warren will be settled in a little bit.”

“Darian made great decisions. We didn’t have any giveaways and then we took it away a couple times. That’s really good. In the fourth quarter we were pinned deep but we were able to bring it out and that was as big as any drive in the game.”

“Everybody’s been confident as we’ve gone forward and our character’s stood up and showed itself. Tad Kornegay told me ‘Coach we’re back’ and I think the men are confident and looking forward to upcoming challenges.”

“We’ll be happy to host B.C. next week. They’ve gotten better through the season and they pulled out the win in Hamilton against a good time. B.C. will be a challenge but we’ll be up for the challenge.”
